Breast Cancer Awareness & Mental Health Education Intersect!

This past Saturday, CBLCSW Mental Health Education Services had the privilege of being a vendor at the Mayor's Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk hosted by the City of Lauderdale Lakes. It was an honor to have my mental health education platform represented at such an impactful community event where people came together to raise awareness, support breast cancer survivors and remember those lost to breast cancer.

The event was more than just an opportunity to vend my mental health education products; it created a platform for meaningful conversations about minority mental health. I had the pleasure of engaging with community leaders, participants and other vendors on discussing the importance of integrating mental health education into community programming. Looking ahead, I am excited to collaborate with the incredible community leaders I met and explore new ways to incorporate mental health education within the city. Together we can work toward increasing mental health awareness, reducing stigma and ensuring that emotional well-being becomes a priority for everyone.

Thank you, Lauderdale Lakes, for your support and for paving the way for future efforts to promote mental health and wellness in our community!
