The holiday season is often described as the most wonderful time of the year. ThatDjChris and The City of Lauderhill made sure it lived up to that promise at their 5th Annual Christmas Toy Drive. This year's event was a heartwarming blend of community spirit, generosity and festive celebration. CBLCSW Mental Health Education Services was thrilled to sponsor and take part by volunteering for an unforgettable event that brought joy to children and families across the city.
The Toy Drive provided a positive holiday experience for attendees of all ages. Everywhere you looked, there was laughter and joy as attendees enjoyed a variety of festive activities—from savoring hot cocoa to decorating Christmas cookies to posing for keepsake Christmas photos. The highlight of the day was of course when gifts were distributed, sparking pure delight and excitement.
For our team at CBLCSW Mental Health Education Services, this event wasn't just about gifts and festivities, it was about being part of a greater mission to bring happiness, hope and connection during the holidays to our community through servant leadership. We extend our gratitude to ThatDjChris and The City of Lauderhill for organizing such a wonderful and impactful event. It was a pleasure to work alongside other passionate volunteers and give back to our community in such an impactful way.
